Configuration Overview

RogueOS is designed to work out of the box, but you can customize it to suit your preferences.

System Updates​

RogueOS uses image-based updates via bootc. Updates are atomic and can be rolled back if needed.

# Check for updates
sudo bootc upgrade --check

# Apply updates
sudo bootc upgrade

# Reboot to apply
sudo reboot

Controller Configuration​

Controller settings can be adjusted in Gaming Mode under Settings > Controller.

Performance Profiles​

RogueOS includes performance profiles optimized for different scenarios:

  • Performance - Maximum power for demanding games
  • Balanced - Good balance of performance and battery life
  • Power Saver - Extended battery life for lighter games

Access profiles via the Quick Access menu (Steam/Guide button).

Display Settings​

Adjust resolution, refresh rate, and scaling in Settings > Display.

Audio​

Configure audio output and input devices in Settings > Audio.
